The Cultural Festival of Misawa, a city in Northern Japan, invited me to present my work, including “the woman in the hat” which you can see in the vignette. On the left, the text in Japanese means: “the little world of Valérie Francisque, French painter”. I love this city that welcomed me warmly despite the 6 months of snow, and for this Festival, I was able to, once again, realize the work of collaboration in the Japanese way, which is quite impressive In its effectiveness! These rather figurative paintings represent my artistic production since I arrived in Japan a year ago.
