Title : « From the top ! »
This year a couple of guys decided to make something special( a crazy project) for the 70’s D-Day Anniversary! Because we are in Cherbourg in the county, numbered 50, they asked 50 local artists to make kites to enjoy liberty in the sky. In French, “art in the sky” (Art en Ciel) sound very like the French word for “rainbow”(arc en ciel). As I lived 3 years in Japan, where the kite-art is very famous, I enjoyed it very much. The subject was, how to paint big enough and simple enough to be watchable far away from the ground. Moreover, I liked the link with my other passion which is coaching. As a coach, I often invite people to imagine difficult situations from far away, to make distance between them and the problems. For this technic, it is important not to feel alone. To have confident in the result, toward the achievement of his goals, we sometimes need to hold somebody’s hands . That is what I wanted to show in my kite’s painting: with love, with light of the sun or inner light, let’s go to new fun aventures!
